Over Clint's 20 year career managing money for a Forbes List family and public accounting, he would often have friends and colleagues come to him looking for financial advice. They were successful people, but they didn't have the time to plan and manage their financial lives.
On top of that, traditional firms wouldn't even make time to meet with them unless they were already very wealthy. The select few who were able to find an "advisor" to meet with them would often be dismayed when instead they found salespeople who were only interested in selling products.
Clint founded CMG Financial Consulting after realizing that young professionals need someone in their corner who understands and can navigate the challenges they are facing in their everyday lives. High student loans, distrust of the financial industry, marriage, kids, children's education, buying or renting, and changing careers are the most common worries he helps individuals and families manage.
He also understands that every situation is different, which is why we only offer customized solutions. Understanding your situation and your unique needs is the most important part of the process.
PERSONAL
Clint grew up in Kansas City and is a Jayhawk for life. He has been married to his wife of 20 years and they have two young boys, and an orange cat. They have made Arizona their home for the past 14 years. When Clint is not working with clients or spending time with his family, he enjoys staying active in the children's ministries of Scottsdale Bible Church. He also loves playing basketball and skiing as often as he can (which sadly means once a year).
Shinobu "Chino" Suzuki, CPA
Director of Tax and Financial Planning
Chino is a CPA licensed in Arizona and has worked for businesses of various sizes and in diverse industries for over 15 years. Her experience includes insurance, non-profits, government, family office, and startup companies.
Chino enjoys researching tax issues and learning about new tax laws to help clients with their life goals and financial success.
PERSONAL
Chino is originally from Sendai, Japan, a place well known for great rice, sake, and tons of natural hot springs. When she is not reading tax codes or crunching numbers with Excel, she likes to cook different kinds of food or doing arts and crafts. She also loves to travel worldwide and learn about the history and new cultures.

PERSONAL
Jay resides in sunny California, surrounded by palm trees and ocean breeze. He got lucky and married his college sweetheart, and they have two beautiful young girls. When he’s not helping families with their financial plans, you can find him spending time with his wife and two daughters, staying active through running and boxing, and reading self-development books.
Alison Merten
Executive Assistant
Alison has been in the administrative field for nearly the last two decades, and has been an Executive Assistant for eight years (the last six of those being a virtual position). Alison enjoys taking care of people and helping managing their busy to do lists and lives.
She is also a Family and Wedding Photographer and has been in the industry since 2009. Photography fuels her passion of being with people and making a difference.
PERSONAL
Alison lives in Tacoma, WA (30 minutes south of Seattle) with her 8-year-old son, Aksel. When she is not spending time with him or working, she enjoys live music, dancing, yoga, experiencing new restaurants, adventuring in the gorgeous PNW, and spending time with friends and family.
